LAB is precursor of detergents. This Product at first reacts with SO3 gas to produce sulfonic alkyl benzene acid.Then this asid reacts with caustic soda to produce sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate. Finally this sulfonate is used as surfactant agent in domestic detergent production.
